Harper; a fine dog: "good dog"

About adopting Harper

Harper is a well-adjusted, four or five year old, neutered dog of undetermined breeding stock that includes obvious and attractive traits from her almost-certain Rhodesian Ridgeback forebears.
A happy dog, Harper has lived in the home for two years now, entirely congenially and contentedly with two other dogs, (having been rescued that long ago from a euthanasia schedule).
[One of the other household companion dogs was also rescued at the same time, she is a grumpy but friendly old hassock of a dog, and the other, original, "main pup" dog is a perfect black lapdog of a popular mix that has been forever - they are all perfectly adjusted to each other, and they have never any of them exhibited behavioral problems.]
Harper studies everyday, very attentively, happily, and diligently, with the family members on a fixed schedule, so that she has come to enjoy the discipline and routine - we think that she will respond well to more training.
Harper is not spoiled with bad dining habits of any kind, but she does love to run and ignore commands to heel if there is a squirrel in that damned bush (we don't have the heart to ever walk her with the choke collar on correctly, lol).
Changes require sad endings, and Harper needs a new home, if you have any friends who need a picture-postcard happy dog around the house please tell them to write to us with any questions, by email to harpergooddog@gmail.com and we will begin arranging to drive her to you soon! - thank you.
